The diagnostics is: This sounds like a broken upgrade. Are you sure you upgraded all packages? Also, what's the output in konsole?

I agree this sounds like a broken update. I closed all my applications when I saw how much KDE stuff needed to be updated. I rebooted afterward and everything's fine here. regards, Carl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
Can you launch it from the command line? If so reboot. I had this problem with Konqueror and Kwrite after yesterdays update. I could launch them from the CLI. I rebooted and all is working. I could open it from a command line. I switched my computer to init 1 and back to 5. That cleared it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

The problem only affected one computer. I switched to init 1 and back to 5 and it seems OK now. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
