hi all [os suse6.4,kernel2.2.14] i've downloaded the sendmail 8.11.0 but after reading all the readme...i still couldn't figure out how to install! i wanted to start with a minimum set up- so i go to ../cf/cf & copy the generic-linux.mc to config.mc. then i followed the insturction, ./Build config.cf =>this would create my config.cf file. next, i cd to /sendmail dir & run "sh Build" & i assume it would create all the filenames inside /etc/mail dir. but all i saw were the helpfile & statistics! what step have i missed out? even when i inserted the new macro into my config.mc file define{'MAIL_SETTINGS_DIR','/etc/mail/') & rebuild config.cf. those are the 2 files in /etc/mail/. my ../devtools/site/ is basically empty - i'm still trying to figure out how to add all those files according to the readme. pls help. i'll really appreciate an guidance. tk ===== 0Oo~~:o) Smile!
