I've been using Android phones and downloading pictures, etc. has worked fine. What is people's experience with US iPhones? TIA, Jeffrey

No experience with an iPhone, but I was gifted and Ipod Touch (was essentially the same without the phone capability). I struggled with it for years, to have my music on it, to access the filesystem with linux. Never worked well, no matter what I did. No matter how much I googled and read and tried to make it work. It was extremely frustrating. I gave up. Android with KDE connect on my laptop works quite well for me. Gustav.

I also found tethering to it didn't work well. There were times when I used my own Android phone, instead of my work iPhone to downlaod something.

Using iphones with kde connect on tumbleweed, also using as webcam and as microphone for vido-conferences. copying pictures from i-phone to pc. working fine. (at least using mic is needing some manual setup) simoN -- www.becherer.de
