[opensuse] equivallent to activesync
I was given an old acer N300 PDA. On windows system, I had to find and install ActiveSync from Microsoft to be able to syn it via USB On Linux it's not seen basically. What can I do? It's seen in windows as an RNDIS link (http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/network/ndis/rmndis.mspx) thanks - I hate to be obliged to launch Win just for that :-) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-eic8MSSfM http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1412160445 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Google for How To install and use Synce. There is lots of info on using this to synce with KDE 3.5 PIM and Evolution.

So do I ;-) Especially since Mickeysoft tells that AS does not work together with XP SP3 (it does, but I have to remove and reinsert the battery every time I connect). Did you hear about funambol? On funambol.com, there is a link to the open source version of it, which currently links to https://www.forge.funambol.org/DomainHome.html.
