[opensuse] Finding only the rpms needed by an application
Is there a way to find and download only the rpms needed by an application. It should be a more efficient way to setup an OpenSuSE box, once the basic system is installed. -- Bogdan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

If it's dependencies you mean, then yast will do the job -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
I need to install openSuSE on a machine without Internet connection. Further, it will be more efficient to download the KDE CD and additional packaged that I need, instead of the whole DVD (which however does not have all applications I need). Is there still stuff missing if you get the DVDs by mail from Novell? They're dual layer and hold more than the downloaded version, I think. -- Bob Smits bob@rsmits.ca Television is an invention that permits you to be entertained in your living room by people you wouldn't have in your home...David Frost -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
