Can anyone help me stabilising openoffice with kde4? The problem seems to be the nvidia driver as I cannot reproduce the error on Intel nor ATI based clients. I have nvidia 6100 with the opensuse 11.0 nvidia drivers updated last week. On opening any openoffice application, the screen becomes unstable. I have to switch to: show dashboard>rt click>lock widgets>open office window>unlock widgets to regain stability. I have removed the 11.0 openoffice opensuse rpms and replaced them with official openoffice 2.4.1 rpms from openoffice.org but without success. Could this be an nfs issue? Does anyone else run a lan where clients run openoffice? Ni idea dónde va ahora. L x Last week I see some instability with OpenOffice 2.4.1, KDE 4.1 (Factory), openSUSE 11.0, nVidia card in a AMD 64 (running 32) computer, but the same does not show unstable in a Intel Core2 Quad (running 32) computer. But after I update the KDE 4.1 the instability disappeared. The instability was ithat the icons of the Panel (Taskbar, System Tray, etc.) were showed strange, but in other desktop (without OpenOffice) the icons were showed normally. Thadeu

If I turn of anti aliasing or use the nv driver it works fine but the fonts look awful. Could anyone suggest a workaround? Or a solution? Thanks. L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I made a Bugzilla account but it only supports mozilla products. I tried. L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
