I've downloaded a nice wee plugin for winamp that I used to use regularly with no problems at all. Due to a dead disk I recently had to reinstall everything on my sound server, but I've had problems with esound. pmsumner@pmsumner:~> esdplay -smainpc /usr/share/sounds/alsa/test.wav works fine on the server itself. If I try to run ESD so that it can be used from an external source by using the arguments "-public" and "-tcp" I get this: pmsumner@pmsumner:~> esd -public -tcp unrecognized option: -public unrecognized option: -tcp initializing... These options are in the manpage and look like they should be fine! Any ideas? Phil
