Hi all, Is there anybody using iPod Shuffle with banshee/amarok or any other player? As I connect it to my system I can see a icon on the desktop, banshee get auto loaded and I get to see my shuffle's content but neither I can play them, load new, copy them or erase them. Please let me know if anybody has resolved it. Thanks, Bikram -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I used gtkpod with 10.3 to manage my daughter's ipod and it worked great. I just loaded it on 11.0 (different hard drive - same laptop). I expect that it will work just as well on 11.0. -- David C. I can confirm gtkpod works like a charm on 11.0, also used to manage my daughters ipod nano. Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Thanks to you all,
It is working for me now.

Here is a link that may help you. http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/ The amarok folks have a good explanation there for getting iPods to work. Apple has a checksum for their database and the Amarok folks have a way to work around it. -- -Chris Innis SuSE User chris_innis@hughes.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
