SuSE Technologists, I seek a recommendation for a mobo to suit an AMD64 3500 (venice core). I build a number of high end workstations and servers for clients. Finally I decided to make the jump and build a 64 bit wkstn for my business platform. My key wkstn is a dual AMD 2600 based on a Tyan S2466 this machine runs faultlessy and has done now for three years. The mobo (amd64) I purchased is totally useless, with a string of problems listed on the net that would surely form a list several kilometres long. I finally got th CPU tested and it is ok. I run SLES on my servers and SuSE 9.3 on wkstns. I wait for patiently for the final of SuSE 10, the RC1 I have is very good and runs very fast on my dual AMD wkstn.
