Hi. RPMs made for redhat may work. Suse 5.3 is nativly lib5 but can run glibc2 programs if youve installed the glibc2 package from the CD. There might also be a problem with directories and paths. But it may very well work wit redhat RPMs on SuSE 5.3. Ola A

Hello, Do RPMs that say they were made RedHat work with SuSE. For instance, I want to install korganizer, but the RPM says RedHat RPM. Thanks.
Well, if they are glibc2 RPMs (which I assume most Red Hat RPMs would be) then no, they will not work (at least until SuSE 6.0).

Hi, I have the official SuSE 5.3 release and dont see glib2c. I was going to get it so I could install redhat rpm's of which there are so many.
