Just the usual libjpeg problem between mozilla and SuSE. You need the later libjpeg (6.2 (or 6b as the archive is named)). Check the list archives for more details. Once in place, M14's actually rather nice. Still no crypto, but it's noticeably faster, and they've cleaned the fonts and presentation up a bit too. You can download the sources of libjpeg.so.62 at: ftp://ftp.uu.net/graphics/jpeg/jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz Put it in /usr/local/lib (or anywhere to be found by /etc/ld.so.conf) and follow the usual instructions to compile it. Anyway, I think that the default Makefile will place the new libs in /usr/local/lib The ./configure part *MUST* be done with the "--enable-shared" flag. Read the install.doc file and follow step by step the instructions for UNIX-like OS'. When done, run ldconfig as root to complete this "update". <-]Will SuSE-6.4 have the later libjpeg, does anyone know? They should...
