how do i unsubscribe???????? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
Folks, Usually I either ignore these kinds of posts or get gruff, but I noticed something odd: The usual trailer with information about subscription / unsubscription is missing from this person's posts. Why is that? To Gregory: This is what appears at the bottom of most posts to this list: -==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com -==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==- On Wednesday 06 October 2004 12:46, gregory jolayemi wrote:

An old bug, something about the script used to attach the footer has problems with certain types of multipart MIME attachments. Chris looked at it at one point, but I think the decision was "not important enough to waste time on"

Well, when you sign up you are given an Email that tells you HOW to get away from the list.

Now and then some people complain that they try (correctly), but don't get unsubscribed. Then, they write to the admin, and they get no answer... so they mail the list. I can not corroborate this - except that getting an answer from the admin is becoming very dificult. Sometimes I have had to go to the feedback form to get a response. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

True - on a few occasions, I have tried to unsubscribe (correctly) because of going of vacation, and it just doesn't work until maybe the third or fourth attempt. Then, the next time, it might be fine.
