I have an Iomega 100MB ZIP drive connected to my parallel port, and my printer is connected to the Zip drive. I think I have made the necessary entries in modules.conf (alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc, and options parport_pc io=0x378, 0x278 irq=7, none), and I have loaded imm (modprobe imm), but I don't know how to mount the drive itself, since I don't know what its device designation is. Can someone please help me? Thanks very much.
According to the SuSE6.3 manual p273 it should be mounted as a SCSI drive. Try /dev/sda or /dev/sda4 If you have other SCSI drives, try increasing the letter until you get the right one.
