Do you have threading turned on in your e-mail client, Charles? This is the fifth separate thread you've started on this troubleshooting project. It makes keeping track of the discussion and data being shared very, very difficult! I thought I was helping by specifying the current issue, which of course is still part of the original one huh? Becky does have a good thread mode by the way. What I do personally is, all the messages that pertains to these issues are flagged for easy finding and I also re-diret some of them to my yahoo account when I need to enter a command or copy something. So I'm not purposely trying to make things difficult. It's not a big deal, Charles, but threading automatically organizes a discussion chronologically. It keeps all the 'bits and pieces' in order, making them easier to find when you need them. (^_^) (^_^)Carl Trust me, I know and it didn't dawn on me because I use to get on people about that myself, but usually when the subject went from hard drives to global warming when it was the biggest problem! :-) Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like. -Will Rogers -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Charles, I've consolidated all the information we've exchanged into a single text file so I can keep track of where we're at. Is there a possibility for you to work on the system while communicating (Skype, AIM, etc.) through another? (^_^) (^_^)Carl I have Yahoo messenger on the other computer that I use to browse and the such when I'm doing a massive operation on this one. (re-installing the OS or moving around gigabytes of files. I had forgot to mention something in the last message. I log on to my mail server via the website when I'm running Linux. So I don't have access right away to Becky (e-mail client) which runs under Windows. I'll have to remember not to delete the messages from the server after I download them so I can reply to them from the website. Well, gotta get out of here. oh, another problem has popped up and that is although the windows partitions are mounted, it shows no files or folders. Have NO idea why that happened because I have always had access to them before. Oh Well! Story of my life! Thanks Carl. If you need/want my YM id, let me know, I'll send it to you offlist.
