Hi, I have another problem with my small network. I have one main computer where I install everything, and smaller computers with only a basic system installed. I mount the /usr and /opt partitions from the main computer at boot time, and most things run equally on all computers. LaTeX, however, needs a file latex.fmt from the /var../texmf directory, so it only runs on the main computer. Are there any other user programs which have the same problem and what is the preferred solution? Mounting /var would surely be silly, but maybe just this texmf directory? Thanks, David.
