[opensuse] OpenSuSE 13.1: "System policies prevent you from getting the brightness level"

After setting my security settings to a more secure setting in yast2 I suddenly get a message "System policies prevent you from getting the brightness level as soon as the brightness is adjusted automatically or via keys on the laptop. All this under KDE4 and on the laptop that I updated from 12.1 to 13.1 lately. SuSE updates are from October 3rd, 2014. This was not the case before when using less secure settings. I've seen Bug 269310 - Senseless "System policies prevent you from getting the brightness level" dialog https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269310 but this is from 2014-01-07 and says "This is still a problem w/ openSUSE 13.1 and KDE 4.11.4." Are there any better news about this bug? Do I have to change some policy settings or file attributes?
