I'm using the EasyShare CX6330 in DigiKam, and it has no problem finding the camera. The problem is when I actually select the camera and try to pull in the pictures.

Your statement of the problem is like driving into your car dealer and telling the service manager: "The problem is when I try to drive my car." Eh?

I've got the CS6200, it may be similar enough to compare note with. Can you be more specific. Give me a fast run down of your doings in Digicam to get the camera working. Did you successfully add the camera using the Camera -> add Camera submenu? You ought to be able to get it to autodetect. One thing I did notice was that if I have any kind of .mov file on the camera, neither gtkcam nor digicam will show the memory cards content.

Correction that's CX6200 not CS6200. Mike -- <sigh> It's a long month already. :(
