[opensuse] set kongueror "view"->"configure background"->"picture" LOST alternating file highlight
List, KDE 3.59-53. Here is one for the kde gurus. Using konqueror, I made the mistake of setting a "picture" as a background under the: "view"->"configure background"->"picture" menu entry. The alternating file highlight "disappeared". I then selected: "view"->"configure background"->"color" and the highlight "reappeared", but the contrast was much darker than before. PROBLEM: I can't find the setting to change the highlight colors or contrast back to where it was. I recall finding it one time, but I must be getting old. It isn't kcontrol->apprearance->colors->"shade sorted _columns_ in list" What say the gurus? -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E. Hmmm. Monitor gamma? Basil, have you had a few coolies? ;-) I think what I'm looking for inst the actual place to set the color (e.g. #0000FF) for the highlight. Thanks for the input! -- David C. Is OK. But you did say something about setting the colour (of the hightlight) and also contrast. Have you even looked at the gamma setting? Basil, That is a great config tweak. Unfortunately, it effects everything, not just konqueror, but I have another laptop it will work wonders on. Thanks for the tweak! -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
