Well, buy another, and take good care of it! Really, have some good sense. SuSE will not cook & clean for you. -- Linux/Unix Systems Engineer http://www.genesys.ro Phone +40723-267961

IIRC you get something similar with yast->system->backup along with the tar of tar files. /Michael -- This space intentionally left non-blank.

Where can I find more documentation on this module? I can't find anything about this in the documentation and the text shown in the modules window itself doesn't explain much to me... If I understand things correctly a 'clone' of the current system would include the same partitioning-scheme. I am looking for a way to generate some sort of list of packages that the installer could read to determine which packages to install - regardless of the other settings. I am planning to reinstall SuSE - making it the sole OS on this box - and change the partitioning scheme drastically. But I would like the new installation to contain the same packages as my current system. Is there a way to do this? (I still have my CDs, so I wouldn't have to burn a 'clone' CD) TIA -- # Mertens Bram "M8ram" <bram-mertens@linux.be> Linux User #249103 # # SuSE 8.1 Pro kernel 2.4.19-4GB i686 128MB RAM # # 10:25pm up 8 days, 3:47, 3 users, load average: 2.19, 2.23, 2.18 #

/usr/share/doc/packages/yast2-module-autoinst/ -- -ckm

This directory doesn't exist on my system, what package should provide this? TIA -- # Mertens Bram "M8ram" <bram-mertens@linux.be> Linux User #249103 # # SuSE 8.1 Pro kernel 2.4.19-4GB i686 128MB RAM # # 5:23pm up 8 days, 22:45, 3 users, load average: 2.12, 2.12, 2.13 #
