[opensuse] Using sudo for everything
Hi, I want to split normal root user from batch (cron) jobs, so I created a new user (TJOBS00) with the same group and rights. I also modified sudo so the new user can execute any command. Using daily cron, I get this errors: SCRIPT: output (stdout && stderr) follows error: failed to rename /var/lib/mysql/mysqld.log to /var/lib/mysql/mysqld.log.1: Permission denied error: error creating output file /var/lib/mysql/mysqld.log: Permission denied error: error opening /var/log/samba/log.smbd: Permission denied error: error setting owner of /var/log/wtmp-20070111: Operation not permitted error: error creating state file /var/lib/logrotate.status: Permission denied SCRIPT: logrotate ------- END OF OUTPUT mkdir: `/var/adm/backup/rpmdb': Permission denied find: /etc/sysconfig/network/providers: Permission denied cat: /etc/sysconfig/dhcpd: Permission denied cat: /etc/sysconfig/collectd: Permission denied cat: /etc/sysconfig/network/update-log: Permission denied cat: /etc/sysconfig/network/update-log.debug: Permission denied ERROR!! can not backup sysconfig files to /var/adm/backup/rpmdb. Maybe there is not enough disk space. rm: cannot remove `/var/adm/backup/rpmdb/sysconfig-20070111.tar.gz': Permission denied SCRIPT: suse.de-backup-rc.config ------- END OF OUTPUT Is there a way to use sudo for all commands automatically?
