But if your friend insists, ask your friend to be sure to configure qmail to reject mail for unknown users at RCPT TO to prevent backscatter. too many qmail servers accept mail for unknown users and then send back bounce messages. This is how sites get themselves blacklisted or listed on rfc-ignorant.org and other lists. Spammers use bounces to send their spam to the forged sender of the message.
