I want to make the xdm script start up with kdm from KDE2, which means changing how these two environment variables are set. Where is the correct place to change them so they are set how I want right at the start of the boot process?

Just a few days ago someone posted what he had to do to use the kde2 version of kdm along with kde2. I haven't tried it yet but intend to. You should be able to find the post. It was very recent. -- Mark Hounschell markh@compro.net
