WTF are you talking about and what does this have to do with openSuSE??? If you want to create your own cloud, you are going about it completely wrong. What you need is a volume of water, apply heat and then capture the vapor. Then you will have created a cloud. FTP has nothing to do with it... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. I'm pretty sure he is talking about <http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/KIWI/Cookbook_Recipe08> Which talks about creating nodes for a private cloud using Eucalyptus <http://open.eucalyptus.com/>. Now, I'd agree that the e-mail was unnecessarily vague and the OP should himself have included those links... but relax a bit. Personally I'm more interested in clouds build on ESX; xen's toolset is too weak and its future too vague.

Yes, I should have added a smiley face. I knew what he was talking about. I've followed the 'cloud' computing buzzword craze ever since it popped up on the radar of IBM-DeveloperWorks. I was just tickled by the total absence of any context in the OP's post :p -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. If you don't mind, could you share a little bit of more details about why do you prefer one instead of another, I mean, What in your opinion is too weak in xen's toolset when compared with ESX? Really thanks CarlosRibeiro
Yes,
David, could you be more detailed about your cloud

David, he is talking about Cloud Computing, Ubuntu Server allows you to set up clouds, he is asking how to how he can do cloud computing with openSUSE, the FTP, I can only assume is so that if anyone has documents they can send them to him. Looking at the documents that Adam sent you, but to be honest if I were to set up cloud computing, I would use SUSE Enterprise Linux 11, when you sent up a server it has an option when you set up a new server if you want to be a part of cloud, or Xen Server, or physical box. I am really impress with the set of SLE11. -- ----------------------------------------- Discover it! Enjoy it!
