Typical support for OpenSUSE is two years. http://en.opensuse.org/SUSE_Linux_Lifetime Currently 10.0 is "scheduled" to go out of support on Halloween this year. However, keep in mind that only includes security patches as Novell doesn't update applications except for those in openSUSE.
