Hey all, I did some updates last evening on some new KDE files for 10.0 and afterwards did a YOU update, before restarting KDE. Now it seems that susewatcher can't quit telling me there are "new security updates available!" I can't seem to make it quit doing that. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is and how to make it behave correctly now? Hi Lee, I've always had luck with this procedure: Click the red tray icon, select 'Start Online Update' then 'Close Window' and run YOU through the process even if there are no updates to install. That's always brought SuSEwatcher back into sync for me. regards, Carl

Thanks Carl, Guess how many times I've tried that since last night? ;o) I just reinstalled the kdebase3-SuSE file to see if the installed file had gotten out of sync. Susewatcher is part of that file. it's really odd, as I've never had this happen. I saw something like this happen to another user's setup once, but simply removing the YOU directory of updated patches cleared it up, by letting YOU rebuild that. I've done automatic updates, manual updates, it performs as it should, but it still won't see there are no more updates. still investigating, Lee

Same here. For some reason today, mine - 10.0 - was telling me repeatedly of updates. I finally forced it through and did a no-update on PHP (I wanted the version I've got.) and it turned into the green geeko icon. -- kai
