[opensuse] KDE4: colors on system labels
Hi all, Is there a way change colors of the KDE system labels (such as "Reboot", "Shutdown", "Logout") as well as the colors of the elements of the main panel? On this one machine (runs OpenSuSE 11.1 and KDE 4.3) the colors are such that the text in those labels is barely legible. I have looked for suggestions and tips but so far have found nothing. Any help much appreciated. Boris. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I asked for help on this a week ago and have had no response. Maybe two of us can get some attention :-(. Two weeks ago I asked for help on restoring my wifi that was killed by an upgrade to 4.1.3, Upgrading that to 4.2.4 did not restore my wifi, but did corrupt my system messages, just as it did yours. Still working over Ethernet, and still unable to read system messages, John Perry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

If you right-click the desktop and open its settings, make sure a theme is selected. You can try to switch to another one as well. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks, that did it. I had tried this before, but only aya and oxygen themes were available, and changing between them didn't change the appearance much, so I thought something else was wrong. Downloading other themes and applying them fixed my display problems. Now if I could just get wifi going again... jp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
