[opensuse] Could not find the openSUSE Repository
I downloaded openSUSE-10.3-GM-DVD-i386.iso to load on my Sony grx 670 laptop. The md5sum is correct. The installation goes well until this error message: 'Could not find the openSUSE Repository. Activating Manuel setup program. I use the Linuxrc program until I choose the CD as my installation source which gives me the error: 'no repository found'. What does this mean? I had the same problem. In my case, the machine was SATA only, and although it booted OK from the DVD, once it got into the installation, it couldn't find the repository. The only way I could get it to go was to put in an IDE DVD player. Once installed, it seemed OK. Is your machine SATA only? Paul Susemail wrote:
