I find out on <A HREF="http://freshmeat.net"><A HREF="http://freshmeat.net</A">http://freshmeat.net that kernel 2.2 has been released Will by this one default in 6.0. Will all system aplication work with 2.2
Well... Not really.
2.2.0-pre2 (I think) has been released. If you follow the kernel mailing
list, there is still A LOT of discussion about what fixes need to be in
before it can be called '2.2.0', although it is proceeding down this path.
IMHO, it sounds like there's still a lot of work to be done. I wish that
I had time to help out :-(.
Hope this helps clear things up.
