Pete .
I have 3.1.0 (OpenSUSE version) on 11.0 and don't see that problem. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I have found that if any part of a table in an MS Word document falls outside the page margins OOo 3.1 will not display that table. OOo 3.0.1 does not have this problem, also I had a friend with Windows try OOo 3.1.0 Windows version and there is no problem. I filed a bug report but have not any response. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=512245 -- Regards, Graham Smith -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Ahh thats what it is thanks i can i think get round that by making sure the poeple that set out our committee docs dont go out side page borders, As a thought have you tried reducing the borders on the page to see if that brings the tables back into view have to boot the other machine in a while and try see if it works . Cheers Pete .

It seems to be 64-bit-specific bug. I see it only on x86_64. I see it also with the Sun 64-bit build.

Florian is quite busy. I have just assigned it to another developer that should have more time to look at it... -- Best Regards, Petr Mladek software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: pmladek@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 952 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Pete, I think I already posted this to factory, but if not, I am having hell with openOffice 3.1. It seems "indentation" is completely broken. I have thousands of documents that use 3" indentation for court signature lines, etc. In oo3.1 all of this "indented" text from MS Word documents is against the left margin. Very frustrating... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Have you tested against the vanilla version of OOo? The Go-OO version includes things not in the vanilla builds that.. in my experience.. consistently break OOo. C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Not yet, But from what I've heard, I'll have to load the vanilla flavor to get any support :-( -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. If you post with a problem like this on the OOo Forum ( http://user.services.openoffice.org ) they will pretty much all tell you to use the vanilla version because these weird bugs and regressions are usually Go-OO specific. Installing the vanilla version is fairly easy if you grab the JRE included build.... just run the setup script and let the wizard do its thing. Urgh, this bug is really only in the Go-oo/openSUSE version. I have just reported it at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=518731. We will fix it in OOo-3.1.1. To be fair, the vanilla builds have similar bugs as well. For example the following two issues will be fixed in the vanilla 3.1.1: + WW8: export adds indent to tab position, see http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=101454 + Tables disappear when importing MS Office doc-files, see http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=103171 -- Best Regards, Petr Mladek software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: pmladek@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 952 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
