How to load module during boot - SuSE 9.0
I installed SuSE 9.0 on a Compaq Armada M300. I had to use an older laptop to do the install (No Floppy or CD-ROM on M300). Then I just inserted teh harddisk back into the M300. It runs fine, except that the usb does not work. The problem is that usb-uhci is not loaded. If I load it manually after boot with modprobe, the USB works. So, how do I get that module to be loaded during boot? I had a look in the /etc/modules.conf and /etc/modprobe.conf, but that does not help. Google and mailing list archives has not helped so far. (I assume the problem exist, because the installation was done on other hardware) Thanks -- Andre Truter Software Engineer Registered Linux user #185282 ICQ #40935899 AIM: trusoftzaf http://www.trusoft.co.za ~ "Oh Bother!" said the Borg, "we assimilated the Pooh!" ~ Disclaimer and Confidentiality Warning This message is intended for the addressee only.
