Hi. Yesterday i got my HP-1100A to print by aid of help from this list. BUT i'm having troubles getting my HP-DJ895Cxi to work under VMware. If I hit device and either USB device 1 or 2 the following info is being showing: "The specified device appears to be claimed by another driver (usblp) on the host OS which means that the device may be in use. VMware Workstation cannot safely take control of the device until the host driver is unloaded". How do I this, and how do I give the control back to VMware again ?. And how do i get the printer available in VMware ??. Med venlig hilsen / Best regards. Erik Jakobsen - erik@urbakken.dk Powered by SuSE Linux 7.3 Windows XP running under VMware Workstation.
I find it much easier to run Samba and use remote printing in VMware,
at least for Windows VMs. Otherwise you have to keep switching the
printer back and forth between VM and real machine.
