[opensuse] Change boot screen of opensuse 11.1
how do we change the boot screen of opensuse 11.1? not splash screen but boot screen (a green background with a progress bar)? Can we change it to our own image? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

There were some posts on that in different forums. I have not saved the references, but generally it looks like that: make working dir1/dir2 and cd to dir2. cp /boot/message . cpio -idv < message mv message ../message-old cp <yor image.jpg> back.jpg ls | cpio -ov > ../message su cp message /boot/message Not all resolutions will work, check in back.jpg that from original message file and adjust your image.
