I've typed ldconfig so many times my head hurts from this "update". :(

I know I've seen others with this Evolution issue. I just use the silly thing as PIM..not for email (thank GOD). I guess I'll just switch back to JPilot if I don't get any solution...I depend to much on my Visor to lately.

there is no true way how to fix this error... i fixed it by removing my gnome libs and reinstalling them.... after running ximian install and saying evolution only

At this point I would have to say that if you've gone from 6.4 to 7.0 to 7.1 to 7.3 you shouldn't use apt. I would say it may work fine on a clean install and if you only use apt to update.
