Hi, I have a dual processor machine with a G400 on which I play BZFlag (a networked tank battle game) and I get a warning saying 3D support not configured (or similar) ... I ran SAX2 to configure 3D support but it makes no difference so how do I enable 3D on such a card? James C. Rocks Equant Archway House Canary Wharf London E14 9SZ

You have to : - install xf86_glx package (download from SuSE if not on the CDrom) - install km_drm package ( on the CDrom) - run the script /usr/X11R6/bin/switch2xf86_glx That's all Catimimi.

log in as root, run 3Ddiag, and see what it tells you. (about modules loaded and etc.) if that what it proposes wont help, you may try to set your default bpp to 16, or reduce the default screen resolution a bit. (for example, down to 1280x1024) On Monday 16 December 2002 11:05, James.Rocks@equant.com wrote:
