Where is the config file for PPPoE?
Hi there I am experiencing some problems with my DSL connection, and my ISP want me to mail them the config file for my PPPoE setup. I can find the settings in YaST, but where is the config file itself? My system is running SuSE Linux 9.1. Janus -- Roskilde University, Denmark. Department of Technology and Social Science. YaST2 -> Network Devices -> DSL. ... It's strange. I have always used DHCP for my internet connections, but suddenly I am experiencing problems: After around 30 seconds all idle ssh and IMAP connections dies. I ran reconnect again without problems, but thats annoying in the long run. My ISP do now have a good explanation, but is now trying to find a solution by using PPPoE. The configuration is saved in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-dsl0 and /etc/sysconfig/network/providers/<your provider>. ciao Arvin
