Hi, USB over network will soon be running :)) USB system is still a bit messed because some of the drivers are in new places like usb-ohci (moved from /lib/modules..../usb to ..../usb/host/) and in this kernel it seems my usb-ethernet box wasn't yet supported by usbnet driver but with ax8817x driver the two leds are now on (100M link) and the device recognized as eth0 I only have to put the network up. There are also not so good news: usb-storage complains about some scsi-register_xxxx unresolved symbols and I suppose that means SCSI support was disabled at kernel compilation. So one of these days I will recompile it. I have been looking after this moment of joy for 3 weeks :) I will have to unsubscribe from suse huge traffic list, but anyone interested in the upgrade I made, particularly those with old toshiba portege 300CT and similars, may reach me at joaodias at fastmail dot fm Many Thanks, Joao
