[opensuse] Opening Imagewriter
I installed imagewriter in Yast. After restart I expected to find it in 'Applications'. There I did not find it. How can I open it? T.i.a André den Oudsten -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

You can also see all the files installed with the package: - in yast software manager: search for imagewriter, highlight the package in the results and select the file list tab in the window below results. This shows all files installed with the package including the binary what you can run. It's usually in /usr/bin or <some-path>/bin. - list all the files installed with the package using rpm command in a terminal window: rpm -q --filesbypkg imagewriter (- probably you can use zypper command to list all files of a package, but I don't know how.) Looks like "Different strokes for different blokes" because I have it as 'SUSE Studio Imagewriter' under 'Utilities' :-). (Leap 15.0, BTW.) Also Leap 15.0. Definitive answer on what I see: In Applications/Utilities, there is a title in large black print: USB key writer. Beneath that, in smaller grey print, is: SUSE Studio Imagewriter. Yes, I'm too lazy to take a snapshot :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
