[opensuse] pop-up with error message
Got this popup: _________________________________________________________ Software Updates Update Error Download (curl) error for 'https:// download opensuse.org/repositories/Education/ openSUSE_Tumbleweed/repodata/repomd.xml': Error code: Curl error 60 Error message: SSL:no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'download.opensuse.org' ___________________________________________________________ What is the cure for this short of reinstalling the whole system, which doesn't seem to care about the popup? (A number of these popups have appeared, with similar text, only since the last zypper dup.) Thanx for anything constructive--doug

What is the cure for this short of reinstalling the whole system,
It is a problem in our infrastructure, download.o.o is (somehow) using the wrong SSL certificate. That's fast service, EFE codebot works wonders.... Worth looking at for managing web certificates if you haven't yet: [Certbot - Archwiki](https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Certbot) -- David C. Oh yes, we are using that - this was old-fashioned human error :-) We switched to a backup location, and the certificates were not updated. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (21.4°C) Member, openSUE Heroes. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
