All, When I was running 5.1, I found a way to get ps to display the process information using the SVR4 format. I find this format easier to use. As I remember, all I had to do was setenv PS_PERSONALITY POSIX. In 5.2 that feature seems to be missing. I see that top will display the type of format I like. Top has its own drawbacks. I would like to be able to use ps in a way similar to the way Solaris implements it. Can anybody explain why this feature is not working for me? Is there a way to get it to work?
