I seem to have to have fixed the problem. In case it happens to anyone else, you need to fiddle with the language settings. I still get the following error though: " .. .. .. (--) SVGA: XAA: Screen-to-screen copy (--) SVGA: XAA: Using 12 128x64 areas for pixmap caching (--) SVGA: XAA: Caching tiles and stipples (--) SVGA: XAA: Horizontal and vertical lines and segments Initializing logs :60: invalid preprocessing directive name <------ :60: invalid preprocessing directive name <------ Starting kaudioserver...Done. " Anyone know what is causing this? I also get those messages, and I fiddled with the language settings too. I tried both the default and US English. It made no difference whatsoever. I still get those messages (and got them with earlier versions of xf86 also). What language settings (in the KDE control panel) do you have?
