I installed the 2.4.2-5 kernel via yast over ftp. It install and if i configure for default X with default SuSE default nv_glx it will run.

However, I also have 2.4.0-4GB and have loaded both the

NVIDIA_GLX...0.9-769

and the NVIDIA_kernel rpm drivers for same version, following the readme
