I'm going to send the stack dump (from .xsession-errors) to fvwm-workers upstream, but who, if anyone, should I send this too at SuSE (or where is bugzilla to open a ticket and any suggestions about how to configure such a ticket)?

I guess you mean the openSUSE fvwm v2.6.4 rpm?
