James, I tried to use APT to install the version of Evolution on the ulb web site but it is labled "evolution-devel". If I just want Evolution to use rather than to develope, do I want the "evolution-devel" version? Don Henson

No, you don't. -devel packages contain only things needed for development, not the application. ain

No, evolution-devel is just the development headers for people who might want to develop plugins (for example) for Evolution. You just need the evolution package However, if you have evolution-devel install from the CDs, you'll need to upgrade that as well, as it's dependent on the specific version of Evolution that it comes with. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0).
