Attention: Mads Okay, so I'm playing with zsh, as mmj suggested. I'm having a bit of trouble with it setting my prompt to unreadable stuff, but I can get around all of that. I've read the page at IBM describing what it's capable of, but this is all a bit abstract at the moment. I'd *really* like to see a .zshrc that does all of the cool tab-completion stuff that Mads was talking about, though. Would it be too much to ask for if somebody (especially Mads) could post one of these animals? ===== -- -=|JP|=- Hit me! - http://www.xanga.com/cowboydren/ Jon Pennington | Debian 2.3 -o) cowboydren @ yahoo . com | Auto Enthusiast /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | ICQ UIN 69 67 29 31 _\_V __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Ah!! I'm eternally greatful. Some of these exports make Cygwin go a little nutty (here at work, it's strictly an NT shop as far as desktops), but that's fixed easily enough. ;) Thanks again, Ben... ===== -- -=|JP|=- Hit me! - http://www.xanga.com/cowboydren/ Jon Pennington | Debian 2.3 -o) cowboydren @ yahoo . com | Auto Enthusiast /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | ICQ UIN 69 67 29 31 _\_V __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? [snip Ben zshrc] In my .zshrc I added completion for .ssh/known_hosts for ssh. That's pretty nifte, might want to grab. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A. P. J.
