I think exim is only on SuSE's e-mailserver distribution. I personally prefer exim3 (haven't used exim4 yet) over sendmail & postfix. The biggest hurdle has been building it. But it shouldn't be too difficult to make an RPM once it has been built. I've heard good things about postfix from other SuSE users. Jonathan Paul Cowherd Linux and Java Administrator Genscape, Inc. I'm trying to figure out what MTA's are available for Suse, but they don't have anything on their website that's really specific.
Other than Cyrus, what else is available.
Is Courier supported?
If not, has anyone experience with installing it via generic RPM's or something else?
I think the CD's (for 8.1 and up at least) come with sendmail and postfix. Not sure if exim is on there. I know qmail isn't included and I don't think courier is. Personally, I run qmail on a SuSE 8.1 box, works great, but you have to install from source or find someone who's made RPM's. If you are interested in installing qmail, simply follow the instructions at: http://www.lifewithqmail.org/
