I would have to strongly disagree on the 1/2 processor speed statement you made.
I Think its better then that...

What's that you say? BeOS in a virtual machine? What version of VMware/SuSE/kernel? I would love to know how you did it. I have always failed...close, but no cigar. You can contact me off-list. And yes, it is a great program. Thanks.
I just checked their website, and you are right -- BeOS is not supported.. sorry :(
You might want to check their newsgroup though, as there might be someone there that has gotten it to work. They are listed on: http://www.vmware.com/support/using/newsgroups.html

I can't tell any difference in speed on my machine running W98 on SuSE7.2 and VMware......in the full screen mode. In the windowed mode, it's very slow.....but then I built another machine that uses the onboard Intel video card on the motherboard, and it was better. Still though, in the full screen mode it runs just like a real machine (except that it doesn't crash). Of course I'm just running desktop stuff like Front Page and stuff like that....nothing really CPU intensive. Funny that Windows 98 and NT both run better on Linux than they do on MS. ;-)
