I can go to vt08 and find a white square cursor. Thats all. I've also tried :0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 vt07 -depth 8 :1 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :1 vt08 -depth 8 just for testing, because in the ".X.err" and "/var/log/XFree*log" there is a warning to check how much memory does the graphic card have. The same results again. By the way, on vt01 SuSE 7.3 set a mix of graphical console (green chamaleon frame) + text console. Can this "feature" interfer with the server? I can send you my ".X.err" and "/var/log/XFree*log" if You like them to take a look and "bring the light" at the problem.
