i have an epson stylus s21 which is supported by gutenprint the newest version and i ve tried cups old and cups new, both dont work and the older one says nothing, brings no error, does as if everything is fine, but the printer is not printing. i can not print a test page because he says: Unsupported format 'application/postscript'! which he only does after compiling or upgrading, so i am sure opensuse team temepered with cups there and now he brings up such errors everywhere. i dont know how they were able to do it, because i did compile this cups for example by myself, but its a problem that comes also when you install it from other repos. however, thats the beginning, i suppose there are tons of bugs which prevent this printer from working. but i can not go any further than this, becuause he doesnt say anything meaningful or useful that could be a hint because i dont even know what bug is from cups and what is opensuse's tampering. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
