Hi, installed OS 10 yesterday at my old notebook (Toshiba Satellite 2800). Installation was running smoothly, except one or two things, so 'good job' to the maintainers. One point which isnt really working is that the mousewheel is working only in one direction: downwards. Even in the setup-part of yast, where you can test the mouse, it is only shown downwards. It is an older Logitech-Mouseman (M-BA 47), which is connected through USB. Here the mouse-section of my xorg.conf: Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "EmulateWheel" "on" Option "Name" "IMPS/2 on USB" Option "Protocol" "imps/2" Option "Vendor" "USB-Mouse" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection My notebook has also a trackpoint (no touchpad) with two extra-buttons for Mousewheel up and mousewheel down. And they are also working only downwards. In xorg.conf there is no section for the trackpoint, anyhow it works (almost). What can i do now? regards, Jens

I had the same problem with my generic logitech scrollmouse. In my case it was fixed by changing the "EmulateWheel" option in xorg.conf to "off" then end session and login again. Keep in mind that sax2 will turn it on again next time you run it and save a configuration. regards, Bjorge

Thank you, this was the solution. But apart from this, there seems to be one mistake in the Sax2-GUI for the mouse-setup: There are three radiobuttons: [] Activate 3-Button Emulation [] Actvate Mouse Wheel [] Emulate Wheel with Mouse Button ... I think the first radiobutton is for the EmulateWheel-Option in xorg.conf. In my case this radiobutton was (i'm quite sure) not active in the GUI. Nevertheless the option was active in the xorg.conf. regards, Jens
