Something is wrong with my Netscape installation. Whenever I boot Netscape I get over 100 entries in the XMessage box that say:
/opt/netscape/netscape: can't resolve symbol 'PR_ExitMonitor'
And on and on, with over 100 of the "can't resolve" entries.
Also whenever I access a web site that has sound, it will terminate the browser.
Any suggestions? (I've reinstalled it twice now.)
Thanks in advance.
Did you set the MOZILLA_HOME=/opt/netscape environment variable?
In your .bashrc put "export MOZILLA_HOME=/opt/netscape"; that solves alot of problems.

Which .bashrc ? I found five of them when I did a $ locate .bashrc Also do I put the quotation marks around the export MOZILLA_HOME=/opt/netscape and the semi colon at the end? I found other "export entries in .bashrc that didn't have the " " and the ; Just wondering, and trying to do it right.
